These soft suede-like UPF 50+ microfibre beach towels are made from 80% recycled plastic bottles which have been transformed into polyester fabric. Plastic bottles are collected from recycling centres preventing them from ending up in landfills and the ocean. All labels and lids are removed and the bottles are washed. They are then shredded into flakes which are dried, melted down and extruded into fibres. As a final step, these fibres are mixed with 15% polyamide for softness.
If you’re taking your towel down to the beach, the microfibre technology used means this innovative fabric repels sand easily so it won’t stick and stays where it belongs, and not in your car or home! It’s quick-drying too – half the time of a traditional cotton towel – so no more mildewy, damp odours.

Unfolded it measures a generous 80x180cm but folds down to fit neatly into a compact, drawstring microfibre carry bag.
