Aboriginal Design Recycled Runner Mat, Burgundy and White
Emu & Kangaroo Tracks is an accomplished Australian Aboriginal artist De Greer Yindimincarlie, of the Wiradjuri Nation in central New South Wales
Emu and Kangaroo tracks features images depicting three campsites, with emu tracks heading west, and kangaroo tracks running east. The centre campsite is surrounded by women, whilst the other campsites are attended by warriors.
Use this mat as an introduction to Aboriginal symbology and storytelling with children. You can also back up this learning with other classroom resources we stock at Recycled Mats including Aboriginal mat sets, and games.
This carpet runner mat in Burgundy and White can be used as a picnic mat, a camping mat, portable flooring, and celebrations. They make great individual resting and relaxation mats with older children. The striking colours of this carpet runner liven up a library, community centre or office foyer too.
Our recycled carpet runners are made from 95% recycled plastics, making them easy to clean and easy to care for. Roll them up to store them in a cupboard or car boot.
